Christmas Spirit at PPSV:

PPSV is starting to look very Christmassy. We are so very grateful for our fantastic team who have been working hard to make our community festive. This year we have had to follow guidelines around decorations so we have come up with some new wonderful ideas to get ourselves into the Christmas spirit. A big thank you to London Drugs : Kim Stuart and her wonderful team who reached out to our local families for gift donations for our residents. All our residents will be receiving Christmas gift which will include – Blanket- Puzzle and other goodies. Four of our local schools  have done special personalized Christmas cards for each residents and we will be handing them to residents along with their gifts on Christmas which will surely brighten their day.

A reminder to all families of the continued efforts of our team to prevent the virus from entering our community. Our Director of Care and GM are hosting regular mini-town halls with all team members to ensure strict adherence to protocols for resident and team safety.

1)    Screening protocols to designate a single, entry and exit point to ensure proper screening of essential workers in accordance to the Fraser Health Guidelines.

2)    Updated PPE (personal protective equipment) usage guidelines to ensure that each position has a designated guide for appropriate use of protective equipment.

3)    We are updated and replenishing supplies on a regular basis to ensure we are prepared for any challenges during this difficult time

4)    Environmental safety and enhanced cleaning protocols are in place with guidance from the Health Authority that all team members closely monitor and follow.
