Our Levels Of Seniors Care
Retirement Concepts offers three levels of seniors care to ensure residents have access to the services they need as well as a range of activities and entertainment options.
This type of retirement community is for people who are usually capable of tending to their daily needs but want access to 24/7 assistance if necessary. Independent living residents can:
- Cook their own meals
- Have visitors over whenever they want
- Enjoy privacy and independence without the burden of owning a house
This type of seniors care is for people who need assistance with some aspects of their daily routine but are still semi-independent. Assisted living residents can request:
- Help with bathing, personal hygiene and getting dressed
- Housekeeping and laundering services
- Medication management
This type of seniors care is designed for people who require around-the-clock assistance with their daily activities as well as medical supervision. Such residents range from people with dementia to those who require palliative care. Complex care residents can expect:
- Three meals a day designed to meet their individual dietary needs
- An on-call nurse available 24 hours a day
- Medication management
- A private room and bathroom
- Assistance with bathing, personal hygiene and other daily activities
Some of our retirement community locations also offer short-term respite care. Respite care covers recovering from a hospital visit or other health instance. It is also available if the caregiver/family member of the senior needs to be away for a period of time or wishes to have a trial period in our retirement community.
Campus of Care
Additionally, some of our retirement home facilities follow the campus of care model, which means they provide different levels of care within the community. This allows couples who require different types of assistance to continue to live together and receive the care they need.
