J’espère que vous allez bien. Ici au Manoir, c’est le statu quo avec aucun cas de Covid à signaler!
Nous attendons toujours les dates de vaccination pour nos résidents qui veulent le vaccin contre la Covid. En attendant, j’ai reçu un appel du CIUSSS à 11h samedi dernier, le 6 février … ils étaient en train de vacciner dans une résidence pas loin du Manoir et ils avaient 20 doses supplémentaires du vaccin Pfizer à administrer avant 14h. J’ai demandé à notre infirmière de contacter tous nos résidents qui conduisent encore et qui pouvaient donc se rendre dans un délai aussi court pour se faire vacciner. Je suis moi-même allé voir comment tout se déroulait à la résidence en question, ce qui était utile dans la mesure où j’ai maintenant une meilleure idée de ce qu’il faut faire pour que les choses fonctionnent bien lorsque l’équipe de vaccination arrive au Manoir (je ne me suis pas fait vacciner).
Ce sont toutes les mises à jour que j’ai pour le moment. Je vous aviserai aussitôt que j’aurai la date de vaccination. En attendant, restez en sécurité et merci encore pour votre soutien.

Dear family members,
Hope you are well. Here at the Manoir, it’s status quo with no cases of Covid to report!
We are still waiting for the vaccination date for our residents that want the Covid vaccine. In the meantime, I received a call from the CIUSSS at 11AM on Saturday, February 6th… they were vaccinating at a Residence down the road from the Manoir and they had 20 extra doses of the Pfizer vaccine that they needed to administer before 2PM that same afternoon. I had our nurse contact all of our residents that still drive, and could therefore make their way in such short notice to get vaccinated. I myself went to see how it was unfolding which was useful in that I now have a better idea of what needs to be done to keep things running smoothly when the vaccination team arrives at the Manoir (I did not get vaccinated).
That’s all the updates I have for now. I’ll let you know when I have the vaccination date. In the meantime, stay safe and thank you again for your support.
