Hello Family Members & Guildford Seniors Village Community,

Devotion to all protocols for optimal healthy community continues,  with daily education for staff, updated Pre Screening Procedures (one controlled lobby entrance) and heightened awareness and proactive efforts for all of our protection.

With being able to enjoy visitations, we continue to be extra mindful of protocols, self-care, visitation support and the best interests of the health and safety of all residents & in house community.

Please consider our *new* window visit instead of entering lobby area, if you are being extra cautious on behalf of your loved one’s safety.

Protocols

Designated Visitor protocols continue – each resident or alternate decision-maker, may designate one designated family/support person who is essential to maintaining physical and emotional health.

Strict compliance measures to all protocols remain in Guildford Seniors Village, following the direction of our public health officials, including preventative & enhanced infection control, monitoring residents’ & staffs’ health closely, and visitor designations.

Deliveries: kindly press the button at the speaker (to your left) to inform our team if you’ve delivered an item in the lobby vestibule. Please label your delivery with resident name, and we will ensure sanitizing and delivery to loved one.  For resident safety, kindly refrain from passing items via windows as we must carefully sanitize all.  Thank you.

It’s a place to gather, share information, while being involved in helping to improve quality of life of the residents living within Guildford Seniors Village.

Dining  #FoodPhotosofTheDay

*Winter Menu* commences next week – just in time for Winter Season (with recent outside temperatures of 0 degrees Celsius!).

Health of each resident is a priority, and one mindful way to achieve optimal well-being is through preparation of nutritious & delicious dining.

For example recent lunch of green salad accompanied by a ham pasta salad with fresh sliced strawberries, with side of comfort & warmth of Tomato Basil Soup, is perfect on a Winter Day.

Plus a little banana loaf, as  there is always room for dessert, coffee & tea!    Oh #YUM

‘Chef Hats Off’ to Navdeep & Desi for your creations, and Dietitian Rob,  for skilled consult & therapeutic diet support.

Home cooked dining is created with excellence led by Aman, Support Services Manager in Guildford Seniors Village’s  on site kitchen.  Bon Appetit!

#ThisIsRecreation

We embrace the domains of purpose and meaning within programs inspired by current resident interests:  social, emotional, physical, intellectual and spiritual.

The trees are decorated, and beautiful paper poinsettia flowers adorn our community.
