Hello Family Members & Guildford Seniors Village Community,

We continue to sustain a happy and healthy community, with infection control prevention awareness heightened for all of our protection.

With being able to enjoy visitations, we continue to be extra mindful of protocols, self-care, visitation support and the best interests of the health and safety of all residents & in house community.

A Message from our Director of Care

Regarding Outside Food and Gifts

To be mindful of everyone’s safety & to maximize infection control, please follow Fraser Health recommendations as noted below:

Designated Visitor protocols continue – each resident or alternate decision-maker, may designate one designated family/support person who is essential to maintaining physical and emotional health.

Please consider our *new* window visit instead of entering lobby area, if you are being extra cautious on behalf of your loved one’s safety.

To make an appointment for visitation with a resident by phone call, video call,  in-person or *lobby window* visit.

Preparation & Visit details will be shared with you

#ThisIsRecreation

We embrace the domains of purpose and meaning within programs inspired by current resident interests:  social, emotional, physical, intellectual and spiritual.

Holiday decorating continues, to add festive cheer, and residents are encouraged to join the decorating fun.  Beautiful handcrafted paper poinsettias will decorate our lobby entrance and within community.  Resident Council meetings ensure communications on best wishes, dislikes and great ideas. We THANK Resident Council members for their contributions, great insights and also, sharing family stories.  Ensuring questions, ideas and feedback about dining, housekeeping, laundry services, recreation programs and infection control updates are attended to is key to monthly meetings.  Learning what is valued by individuals living in Guildford Seniors Village truly is collaboration at its finest.

Beautiful Paper Poinsettias Created by Arlene, Therapeutic Recreation Team will soon decorate the halls of Guildford Seniors Village
