Hello Family Members & Guildford Seniors Village Community,

In times when infection control is at the forefront of all that we do, we want to take a moment to encourage you to continue best practises in mask wearing, hand washing & social distancing, and loyalty to Medical Orders from Dr. Bonnie Henry as they apply to the region in which you live.  We are as vigilant as ever in sustaining a healthy community for residents, and essential workers in mutual collaboration with your efforts, compliance and understandingThank you all.

In light of Visitations, we continue to be mindful of protocols, self-care and visitation support.  Please consider our *new* window visit instead of entering lobby area, if you are being extra cautious on behalf of your loved one’s safety.

Designated Visitor protocols continue – each resident or alternate decision-maker, may designate one designated family/support person who is essential to maintaining physical and emotional health.

Strict compliance measures to all protocols remain unchanged in Guildford Seniors Village, following the direction of our public health officials, including preventative & enhanced infection control, monitoring residents’ & staffs’ health closely, and visitor designations.

We embrace the domains of purpose and meaning within programs inspired by current resident interests:  social, emotional, physical, intellectual and spiritual.  We look forward to screening of this season’s Fall 2020 Vancouver Symphony Concert Hall Series beginning next week.

Music is vital to elevating our Journey Experience – we THANK and welcome favourite entertainers, such as Peter by ZOOM (virtual video), who plays all favourite requests!

We are indebted in humble respect to Veterans among us, past and present.

We honour our Veterans or Spouses of Veterans with a ceremony & pinning of resident handcrafted poppy on November 11.  A beautiful tribute is on display for each to respect and learn of the incredible Veterans we are honoured to know.
