What a joy to deliver Tim Hortons coffee & donuts to all the gentleman in Guildford Seniors Village, during this week! The Therapeutic Recreation Team are buzzing with creative ways to create purpose, smiles and thriving social connections for all individuals living in Guildford Seniors Village. Before ‘Covid’ and now, we continue to adapt favorite hobbies and interests, and often, we discover new joy or ways to engage in meaningful purpose. On Sunday, June 21 we will deliver Favorite Snacks especially for all Dads. Small group resident programs continue in June within each of our four neighborhoods – bingo is back and a popular program!
Deliveries
In anticipation of Father’s Day Celebrations, please feel welcome to bring gifts, cards and we will arrange timely delivery for resident joy. Kindly press the button at the speaker (to your left) to inform our team if you’ve delivered an item. Please do label your delivery with resident name, and we will ensure sanitizing and delivery to loved one. Happy Father’s Day! Please no food items for residents. Thank you!
Protocols
We continue to adhere to strict compliance measures under the direction of our public health officials, including preventative & enhanced infection control, monitoring residents’ & staffs’ health closely, and visitor restrictions.
As we are closed to Visitors, we encourage you to connect with your loved ones via phone, Facetime or Skype by emailing recreation-gsv@retirementconcepts.com or call 604-582-0808 ext. 203, in order to arrange a scheduled date and time.
Also, please feel welcome to send messages or photos to your loved ones by emailing recreation-gsv@retirementconcepts.com and we will be pleased to deliver to your loved one.
