Guildford Seniors Village – Update 17 June 2020
We celebrate a healthy community, all residents and essential services. We welcome back Foot Care Nurse Mary as an essential service, and we continue Care Conferences by teleconference, and will reach out to families with scheduled conferences.
In addition, please share any concerns or feedback, and also, if you wish to meet with our General Manager, Camila Nunes, you are welcome to arrange a socially distanced meeting by calling 604-582-0808 ext. 103 or email cnunes@retirementconcepts.com.
Protocols
We continue to adhere to strict compliance measures under the direction of our public health officials, including preventative & enhanced infection control, monitoring residents’ & staffs’ health closely, and visitor restrictions.
We look forward to celebrating Father’s Day with Tim Hortons coffee & donuts during the week, and on Sunday, June 21 we will deliver Favourites Snacks for all Dads, with a specially designed Room Service Trolley.
As we are closed to Visitors, we encourage you to connect with your loved ones via phone, Facetime or Skype by emailing recreation-gsv@retirementconcepts.com or call 604-582-0808 ext. 203, in order to arrange a scheduled date and time.
Also, please feel welcome to send messages or photos to your loved ones by emailing recreation-gsv@retirementconcepts.com and we will be pleased to deliver to your loved one.
Small group resident programs continue in June, as we prioritize the most meaningful interests of each resident, within each of our four neighborhoods.
Deliveries
In anticipation of Father’s Day Celebrations, please feel welcome to bring gifts, cards prior to June 19th and we will arrange timely delivery for resident joy. Kindly press the button at the speaker (to your left) to inform our team if you’ve delivered an item. Please do label your delivery with resident name, and we will ensure sanitizing and delivery to loved one. Please no food items for residents. Thank you!
Gratitude
We are grateful to the kindness and patience of families and extended community, and in addition to missing our extended visiting family and loved ones of residents, we very much miss our Pet visitors.
