Guildford Seniors Village, has been declared on outbreak as per health authorities (as of January 8^th) regarding two staff members testing positive who are currently isolating at home.

Thank you to everyone for your continued support and diligence in helping us keep everyone safe and well.

It is through combined efforts, vigilance and patience that we will be successful!

*Covid vaccinations arrived today and were administered to residents*;

thank you to all resident decision makers who have shared their consent.

1^st Floor Neighborhoods   Protocols implemented in compliance with health authority & Public Health are as follows:

• Maple & Dogwood Neighborhoods are on droplet precaution
• We remain closed to Visitors until further notice
• Please no food donations at this time
• Contact tracing in effect to determine any exposure from affected individuals; then swabbed/tested for COVID-19.  If your family member was traced, you would receive a phone call from us.
• Extra housekeeping is cohorted for 1^st Floor for enhanced services & sanitizing.

As a precaution implemented on both 1st & 2^nd Floor:

• Admissions and transfers are suspended.
• All neighborhood dining rooms are currently closed; room service of home cooked Winter Menu & Snacks Trolley in disposable containers is in effect.
• Recreation Programs as One-To-One Visits continue in un-affected areas.
• Please no Food deliveries from family at this time.

Furthermore,

• Cohorting resident & staff by neighborhood, includes housekeeping services.
• Strict compliance with PPE, Health Pre-Screen 2x daily for all essential staff & residents continues.
• Daily Education regarding PPE, protocols & hand hygiene includes enhanced Huddle Guide.
• PPE stock & replenishment is stable.

• If your family member becomes symptomatic or requires testing, you will be contacted by phone.
• General updates or information will be sent out in daily emails.
