It is with great celebration that we share the news that Covid Outbreak has officially been declared over today, Jan 19th,  by health authority.

As we transition in a stepdown process, some protocols continue.

We gratefully remain with no new infections nor symptoms, and that no residents have been infected to-date.

We will continue to communicate with weekly emails to you and on our website.

We thank each of you for prioritizing a united collaboration in managing all risks and supporting the health of residents.

We continue to follow the directive of health authorities.

As we resume Visitations, our team will reach out to you to schedule in person, and thank you for your patience.

In our Step Down Transition at this time we continue:

What Is Your Passion?  “To Help Others”

Lead Nurse Levie cherishes her journey of perseverance to become a nurse.  “I really love my job”.

As the eldest of five brothers, there were high expectations set on her young shoulders, and she was raised as a caregiver –

so nursing was a perfect fit!

Living near a hospital when she was young, “my father was military police, and I grew up around military nurses & wanted to be ‘one of them’”.

She emigrated from the Philippines, to live in Libya though her studies, and was one of 21 first nurse graduates of the Makapi Medical Centre.

Levie celebrates 18 years working as a nurse in Long Term Care, and through “ups & downs, blessings & passion for teamwork”,

led her to Guildford Seniors Village for past 8 years.

We celebrate YOU Levie!
