Dear Residents’ Family, Friends, Decision-Makers and Guildford Community  –  Daily Update,

Please find previous weekly & daily updates of Guildford Seniors Village located on our Website    https://www.retirementconcepts.com/category/guildford-seniors-village/

Outbreak protocols continue (declared on outbreak as of January 8th);  one staff continues to isolate at home; one staff is cleared, and we continue to remain with no new infections/ no symptoms.

We thank each of you for united collaboration in managing all risks.

On a daily basis, we are in contact with the health authorities and continue to follow their direction. They will determine the time in which we can begin a step down process, and once that has been approved, we will communicate it in these emails.

We remain closed to Visitors until further notice.

*On January 11th, Covid vaccinations arrived and were administered to residents who shared their consent or whose decision makers provided their consent.

For Resident Decision Makers, who have NOT provided consent yet, please do so by:

At this time, all vaccine supply is first prioritized to Residents; then if surplus, Essential Staff.   If extra, it is then we will be able to reach Essential Visitors, with very short notice due to nature of handling the vaccine.

Thank you to everyone for your continued support and diligence in helping us keep everyone safe and well. It is through combined efforts, vigilance and patience that we will be successful!
