Hello.
We are so pleased to begin the process of welcoming visitors to our community – so please note one designated visitor will be by appointment, as per the following Health Authority Infection Control Mandates:
We celebrate the health of our community, with prioritized infection control ensured during designated visitor experiences within the community. There is tremendous respect for the patience of all GSV community members during July, and we mindfully welcome one visitor designate per resident, and the devotion, skill and caring of all essential staff.
As new visitation process begins, please note some of the key aspects:
Protocols
Strict compliance measures to all protocols remains unchanged in Guildford Seniors Village, under the direction of our public health officials, including preventative & enhanced infection control, monitoring residents’ & staffs’ health closely, and visitor restrictions. Essential Services remain the same, and announcement of opening of Hair Salon will be communicated once safety plans are confirmed with service provider. Foot care services has commenced as an essential service. Option of mobile Dental Care is an essential service for emergency situations only at this time.
Dining
Our Summer Menu launches on Monday July 20, featuring ‘Resident’s Choice’ in the Maple, Arbutus, Dogwood & Rosewood Neighborhood Dining Rooms. We celebrate locally sourced ingredients, seasonal berries & vegetables, including Dietitian recommended texture and nutrition requirements for each individual. We look forward to ensuring favourite dining, including option of gluten free. We embrace seasonal variety through a four-week menu plan, featuring alternates such as mashed potatoes & gravy, rice, eggs and vegetarian option (example of one week attached).
