Dear friends and family of all of our residents at White Rock Seniors Village

At this time, we are happy to say that all point prevalence testing has come back negative.

We know the content below may seem repetitive but we want to ensure you have all the information readily available at all times.

The staff member who did test positive is at home isolating for 14 days.

Following direction from Fraser Health, we continue to follow the enhanced monitoring guidelines. We have extra housekeeper’s onsite to ensure the highest level of sanitation especially in high touch areas.

Enhanced monitoring means we are not on outbreak but rather heightened watch at the current time. As we await direction from Fraser Health, we are hopeful that visitation will reopen soon.

During this time the following protocols are in place

-All recreation and visitation is paused.

-All staff and residents will remain in their areas. No cross-over

-Enhanced wellness monitoring of staff and residents

-Any contact tracing required

Deliveries can be dropped off at our screening door but please make sure the items are sanitized and well labeled. Please no perishable items.

We will keep you informed of any changes in our status and if your family member is affected, you will be notified directly.

Please do not call the site unless it is an emergency as our efforts will be concentrated on making sure our residents remain safe and comfortable as we ensure all of our protocols are in place.

When visitations do resume, please be diligent in refraining from visiting if anyone in your household or that you have been in contact with has symptoms of COVID 19. All visits should be postponed until after testing and results come back negative.
