WRSV Family Update July 24 2020

We would like to take this opportunity to thank all of you for being patient with us as we try to accommodate all the visitation requests. As you can imagine, there has been a flurry of requests and we are doing the best we can to answer these requests in a timely manner while still following the Health Authority’ s protocols.

As you know, only one person is allowed to visit each resident as part of the process.  For information and to register, long term care families please call Nancy Tunner at 604-531-2273 x 115 and she will prescreen you over the phone. She will then pass your information onto Jessica who will contact you to set up a date and time for your visit

To the RC or Long Term Care families

Please remember that Skype and facetime are alternatives to personal visits and you can request any of these visits by calling Jessica Sendler at 604-531-2273 x 108 or jsendler@retirementconcepts.com

To the Independent living families

Our residents are happy to be back in the dining room after months of take out. Even though it’s a new normal with only one person to a table, at least they can enjoy each other’s company while having meals served to them.

Small luxuries have certainly become important.

All onsite visits must be pre booked through either Si Cussen 604-541-4663 x100 or Denise Ewert 604-541-4663 x 116. Bookings can be made Monday through Thursday 9:00 – 4:30 pm or via email scussen@reirementconcepts.com

Dr Bonnie Henry has strongly suggested that the use of masks in enclosed areas or within 6 ft of another person has helped us to limit the spread of COVID. Please be diligent with these requests and continue to wear a mask to protect yourself and others. Your continued practice of social distancing and small group gatherings will have a positive impact on all of our futures.
