Dear Families of our Long term care residents.

As our Outbreak has been declared over, we are beginning to follow the step down process as laid out by Fraser Health.

Recreation: We have begun the following activities:

Meal service: We will start with 25% of residents eating in the dining room and will set the date for re-opening the main dining room for 3rd floor residents soon.

Visitation:

We are very happy to announce that in person on site visitation will begin next week for your loved ones with their designated visitor.  All onsite visits will be in the LTC main floor dining room. Please enter through the screening door on Maple Street.

For third floor residents onsite visit are Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday.

For second floor residents onsite visits are Sunday Monday and Wednesday.

Window visits will be booked in the same time slots when available. Window visits can accommodate more than visitor at a time but please keep in mind that too many people could cause anxiety for your loved one. We can also accommodate the designated visitor inside the main dining room with other visitors outside the window. We can provide the resident a portable phone for you to call them during window visits, please arrange this in advance.

Virtual visits via Skype, facetime or phone call can be booked for Tuesdays or Thursdays in half hour time slots at 9:00, 9:30, 10:00 10:30 and 11:00 am

If the above times do not work for you, we will do our best to accommodate however we would like you to also consider that there are many other recreation programs going on throughout the day and we want to ensure that every resident is included in some form of daily social activity. Additional appointments can be booked if time slots are available.

All designated visitors will be pre-screened when they book their appointment and again before entering the building. All on-site visitors must wear a mask at all times inside our building. We will provide you a new medical grade mask at the screening door.

If you wish to change your designated visitor, you will be directed to speak with Denise, the General Manager or Jessica, the Director of Care.

To book your times for any type of visit, please contact our screeners/ visitation coordinators at 604-541-4663 x 215 or email them at wrsv-familyvisits@retirementconcepts.com

Please do not book a window or social visit if you have any symptoms or have been in contact with anyone with COVID-19.
