What an incredible surprise for the residents this week!  The Chilliwack Beavers group worked very hard to gain a badge by making potted plants for each and every resident.  They dropped off at Assisted Living main entrance while the residents waved and said thank you through the window.  It was a beautiful gesture by the children of our community to think of Waverly as their choice to earn their badge.  We are blessed with an abundance of flowers.

Meals

The social chatter in the dining room is such a warm wonderful feeling once again.  Our residents are so thankful to be sitting at a normal distance from their friends and neighbours. It has the feel and look of a beautiful restaurant dining experience once again.  We know we are looking forward to welcoming our friends and family back to dining with us soon enough!

General Store

Don’t forget to grab a treat from our stocked General Store !!!  Especially on those hot sunny days when a cold ice cream treat is needed!

Deliveries and Drop-offs:

All deliveries will continue to be received at the front desk and will be sanitized, bagged and we will call the tenants to come and pick up their items right away.  Please ensure you label all items with name and room number to ensure all packages are received as quickly as possible.

Reminders for your loved one to Stay Safe!

Please help us by reminding each resident daily of the following four items:

1. Practice social/physical distancing (6 feet apart)
2. Perform proper Hand Hygiene (Wash hands frequently for 20 seconds with the alcohol-based sanitizer or soap and hot water) 20 seconds or greater is so important.
3. Avoid touching eyes, nose and mouth
4. If exhibiting any symptoms (fever, cough and difficulty breathing) please alert staff immediately.
