White Rock Seniors Village remains COVID Free

We are happy to announce that we have a new recreation Aide on the Long term Care side of our building.

Over 20 years ago, Young  came to Canada as an international student to study music. Young studied at University of Manitoba majoring in music composition and then went back to Korea. She got married and raised 2 children.  Because of Young’s husbands’ dual citizenship, Kim family decided to move permanently to Canada 6 years ago.

Young is a wonderful addition to our recreation team being very energetic, compassionate and a talented musician. Residents have been greatly enjoying her piano performances every day and Singing Hymns every Saturday. Please join us in welcoming Young Kim.

We recently had a COVID audit and are proud to say that we are in compliance in all of the most important areas of concern regarding infection control

There is one area that we have been instructed to concentrate on and that is Visitation. In order to limit exposure, as per the health Authority, each family is to designate one family member for onsite visits. We highly recommend that you book in advance as there are many families wanting to see their loved ones at this time

Please do not call the nurses to book visits as we really need to be sure theses visits do not overlap with other residents plans and our care team can safely escort residents to the visits when needed
