SELKIRK UPDATE

We are thrilled to announce Batool Azim to the team as our new Support Services Manager. She brings a variety of work experience with her, and a strong background in clinical nutrition. Welcome Batool!

RECREATION

Last week we celebrated Mother’s Day with a delicious dinner, and every woman received a beautiful flower. Just a little thank you to all the women in our lives.

The Rec staff have been busy on the patios, getting their planters full of flowers and welcoming in spring. With the weather being so warm and bright lately it has allowed our recreation team to get outside more with the residents, both in our inner courtyard area and out for a walk in the community.

Yesterday we were treated again by the musical talents of Jordan on violin. He performed in our courtyard for all to enjoy!

VISITATION

All social visits will be booked in advanced through our social visitation line 250-940-1028 ext. 1125 or via the social visitation email Selkirk-familyvisits@retirementconcepts.com . All visitors will be signed in and screened in the front lobby prior to seeing their loved one. As per the MHO and Province, there is a limit of 2 adults and 1 child visiting any one resident/tenant inside at one time. When booking your visit, please ask about parking instructions and where to enter the building. Do not visit if you are feeling unwell, please call and reschedule your visit at ext. 1125.

The Recreation team are still facilitating FaceTime and Skype to the best of their abilities, while also completing their other duties.
