Hello everyone,

We are happy to report today we have no new resident or staff displaying any symptoms of COVID-19 here at Rosemary Heights Seniors Village.

Even though we are not officially on an outbreak, we have been advised by FH & MHO that we still need to adhere the safety protocols.

The focus is on long term care floors (both 1st & 2nd).  We have been advised to cancel all recreation programs, in person visits, and cohort residents on their respectful floors with dining rooms remaining open for now, if this changes please note we will notify you immediately.

Please note if your family member displays any symptoms related to COVID, they are isolated immediately & tested, should you loved one test positive for COVID 19 you will get a direct phone call.

We are not permitted to have any visitors into the building (this includes assisted living & long term care) at this time except for essential visitors. Once we get cleared I will provide the direction on how to book in person visits, the goal will be for late next week.

Where did the month of April Go? As we continue to see signs of Spring come to life, we are so fortunate to live in such a beautiful country and province. And one day soon… everyone will have a chance to explore and travel once again, as long as we stick together and stay vigilant with new restrictions and parameters over these next few weeks, to keep each other and your loved ones safe.

With current Covid 19 numbers & risk of new variants, restrictions will remain in effect for our tenants, residents and families.  We will be continuing to follow the direction of our provincial Health Officer, Dr. Bonnie Henry, and our general NO VISITOR policy remains in place.

Current BC Provincial Medical Health Orders can be found here and new provincial travel restrictions can be found here. Current Medical Health Orders have Travel restrictions for non-essential travel in B.C. in place to stop the spread of COVID-19 through MAY 25, 2021. Please stay local and travel only when needed.

It is so important to follow the directions to keep yourself and everyone else safe.
