Hello family & friends of Rosemary Heights,
We are happy to report no residents or staff are displaying any COVID symptoms and we are continuing to monitor staff and residents daily, as well we are continuing with our enhanced sanitization plan.
We have retested all the staff & residents in the Assisted Living building and are still waiting upon a few more results and are optimistic that we will learn of our next steps. We need to ensure everyone is healthy before we resume daily activities. We will share the results as soon as we receive them and this will determine our next steps with Fraser Health/Public Health Nurse
At this time, we are still deemed on an enhanced monitoring on the Assisted Living building and must continue with ceasing in person visits, residents remain in their rooms with meals being served via room service and group activities are halted as per Public Health & Fraser Health. We are continuing to monitor staff and residents daily, as well we are continuing with our enhanced sanitization plan. Please know that if your family member tests positive, you will receive an immediate phone call and they will continue these calls daily to keep you updated.
We have encouraged all residents to call the staff with any concerns or needs should they need anything 24/7. With the changes to meals being delivered via room service, times may be slightly delayed.
Please continue to communicate positively with your loved ones daily.
The care and safety of residents is our number one priority, and we are treating the situation very seriously.
Long term care:
For all residents in Long term care, dining rooms are open, small group activities are still occurring as well as zoom, FaceTime, & skype calls however we cannot proceed with in person visits as the space we use is located in our Assisted Living building. Any deemed essential visitors for the long term care residents should continue with your schedules.
Deliveries:
**Delivery hours are between 9am- 3pm, Mon-Sat and closed Sundays**
All deliveries will be received at the lobby entrance vestibule. This includes medication deliveries from pharmacies, other gifts and mail. All items will be sanitized and delivered directly to the residents’ suite.
Please do not drop off items after hours, we do not have staff to be able to accept it and may be left outside until the designated time listed, if you do, you will be taking your chances & we will not be responsible for anything that is left after hours.
Thank You
A big heart felt thank you to everyone who is helping keep themselves and others around them safe. It has been a very long, hard, difficult year, and know that we appreciate all the efforts made to stay healthy.
