We know this first line is the most important:

We are happy to continue to report that NO RESIDENTS or staff are presenting COVID-19 signs or symptoms at Renfrew Care Centre.

 Should the status of this facility change in any respect, please know that we will immediately contact families

Although there is not much to report we do want to continue with these emails to ensure everyone feels up to date and always has any information they need on hand.

Protocols

We are continuing to follow the direction of our public health officials to the letter and have full infection prevention and control precautions in place.

Recreation Program

 For that always needed outside connection with family and friends our recreation department continues to facilitate Zoom, Facetime and Skype calls. If you would like to set up a time for one of these calls please reach out to Marivic at rcc-recreation@retirementconcepts.com or by phone 604-216-2333 to set up a schedule. We will be happy to confirm a date and time to connect you with your loved-one. 

Reminders for your loved one to Stay Safe:

1. Practice physical distancing (6 feet apart)
2. Perform proper Hand Hygiene (Wash hands frequently for 20 seconds with the alcohol-based sanitizer or soap and hot water) 20 second or greater is so important.
3. Avoid touching eyes, nose and mouth
4. If exhibiting any symptoms (fever, cough and difficulty breathing) please alert staff immediately.
