Hello Everyone!
Vancouver Coastal health has criteria that every Long Term Care center must meet in order to be cleared from an outbreak and we are happy to say that Renfrew has met these criteria so the outbreak can be declared over as of today.
Admissions, transfers and visitation can all start up again.
Thank you all so much for the hard work, patience and diligence in helping us beat this outbreak.
We know everyone will be wanting to book visits as soon as possible and we will be working hard to accommodate this.

Please ensure you receive confirmation of your visit booking before coming to Renfrew.
Please remember to do a pre assessment before coming for a visit. If you are feeling unwell or have even one of the following symptoms: have a sore throat, cough, fever, loss of taste or smell, headache, stiffness – please do not come for the visit and contact Health BC or your physician.
You will be required to wear a proper mask, sanitize your hands and practice proper distancing at all times. A screener will ask you assessment questions upon your arrival, please be open and truthful so we can ensure the safety of everyone.

We will resume a schedule of sending the family update emails out weekly. Should anything change, you will be informed and daily emails will resume.
