Monterey Seniors Village – May 22, 2020 Update
We are pleased to report today that three staff members who previously tested COVID-positive have been cleared to return to work. As a result, the number of affected staff now totals two, each of whom remain in self-isolation at home.
The health status of our residents remains unchanged, with NO resident showing symptoms within our community.
We continue to monitor residents very closely and should any be symptomatic, they will be swabbed, and placed in isolation as a precaution until lab results are known – as a matter of course.
Staff members continue to be assessed at the beginning of their shift and mid-way through their shift, and should any be symptomatic, they will be placed in self-isolation as a matter of course.
Protocols
We are adhering to a number of strict protocols, including restricting ALL visitors from the premises.
We continue to ensure ongoing deep cleaning and sanitization of the entire community, with additional housekeeping staff in all areas of the building, and enhanced cleaning in high touch areas.
We will continue to act upon the latest advice of public health officials and adapt our operations as necessary and recommended, to reduce the risk of infection and transmission as much as possible.

We continue communicating with all families via email on a daily basis along with Facebook posts.
Please know that should the condition of any resident change, family will be notified immediately.
