Monterey Seniors Village – July 13, 2020 Update

We are very pleased to inform all families that health officials have now confirmed that

Monterey Seniors Village is NO LONGER AN ACTIVE COVID-19 SITE.

The Monterey team would like to thank everyone for their tremendous support during this difficult period.  However, as you all will appreciate, we will be moving ahead cautiously and keeping all current processes in place to protect residents and staff.

We will continue to monitor residents very closely, while staff members will continue to be assessed at the beginning of their shift and mid-way through their shift.

Visitations can resume by appointment only, and recreation programming will soon begin again as well.  The hair salon will reopen later this week.

Protocols

We continue to ensure ongoing deep cleaning and sanitization of the entire community, with additional housekeeping staff in all areas of the building, and enhanced cleaning in high touch areas.

We will continue to act upon the latest advice of public health officials and adapt our operations as necessary and recommended, to reduce the risk of infection and transmission as much as possible.

Communication

This will be the final daily update, but we will continue communicating with all families via email on a weekly basis, along with Facebook posts.

Please know that should the condition of any resident change, their family will be notified immediately.

Access 

The community is restricting access to visitors unless by appointment.

Staffing

There are no staffing issues to report today.

Supplies

We continue to monitor our supplies closely.
