Hello Family and Friends,

We are thrilled to announce that we do not have any new residents or staff members test positive for COVID-19.  As planned, we will resume “business as usual” tomorrow, Thursday, November 5th.

Essential and on-site social visits may resume.  Please contact our Recreation Department at mrsv-recreation@retirementconcepts.com to schedule your visit.

Outside Visits

In light of this recent scare, and with new recommendations from Dr. Bonnie Henry, we would like to take this opportunity to update our recommendations on outside visits.

See below from the recent briefing on, November 03rd 2020, from Dr. Bonnie Henry, Provincial Health Officer:

“Today, much of the recent transmission is connected to social gatherings. That is why it is so important to keep our groups small. This is particularly important in the Fraser Health region where Public Health teams are asking everyone to avoid all social gatherings in your home right now – even those that are within the restrictions of the Provincial Health Officer order.”

As a proactive approach, we would strongly recommend that visits outside the facility be limited to essential medical appointments only at this time.

We request that you do not visit or take your loved one out if you or any family members are feeling unwell, or have had exposure to COVID-19, or been asked to self-isolate by Public Health.
