Hello Everyone,

I would like to take the time to thank you all for your continued supports as we make our way through unchartered territory.

Communication

Please feel free to access the website for any updates from the Community on COVID related issues.

We are asking families to please limit calls to the Community to 2 per week (2 calls per resident per week). It is important that the care of the residents remain the primary focus, and we will continue to endeavor to do our best to ensure that you have routine and scheduled contact with your loved ones.  As we indicated at the onset, we will do our best to facilitate active communication with your loved ones wherever possible and with time permitting.

Recreation

Unfortunately, the weather has not been very cooperative over the last few weeks in order to facilitate outdoor activities or BBQ’s for your loved ones.  We look forward to being able to get outside and have your loved ones enjoying these beautiful grounds of ours.  The roses are in full bloom and are just spectacular to look at.  The landscapers are doing an amazing job, and the recreation team is waiting for the weather to break to really get out there and have the sun shining on people’s faces.

Meals

We have still not received permission to open the dining room on the AL side of the building.  We will announce the opening as soon as we get the word in writing from the Health Authority.

General store

The general store remains open, however; we are not permitting more than one person in the store at a time.  The store remains well stocked and available for some treats and little necessities.  There is plenty of body wash and other toiletries available to them there.

Deliveries

We remain asking that any deliveries come through the front door for sanitization.  This is for both AL and LTC.  For LTC, we are asking that only small items in single wrapping and single serving sizes are brought to LTC that may also be sanitized by wiping down.  We are again reminding folks to please not leave things on the carts after 4:30 p.m.

As updated information is made available to us, we will certainly pass this along to all of you.

Stay Safe everyone,

Sincerely,

Christy Baker
