Hello Everyone,

We would like to send a big “THANK YOU” out to all of our amazing residents and families for all the wonderful treats you have dropped off for the staff here at LSV.  Your generosity is greatly appreciated and the treats have been enjoyed immensely by all the staff.

This week in addition to some general information we would like to cover we have included a number of pictures of the festivities around the community especially this past week!

Once again we are happy to report that No Residents or staff are presenting COVID-19 signs or symptoms at Langley Seniors Village.

As per the new Fraser Health Regulations effective immediately:

Booking Visits in our Private Dining Room

To allow us to maximize the number of visits we have available each day the visits are booked starting on the hour for 45mins which allows for a 15min window to sanitize the room properly prior to the next visit.  Visitation bookings are available seven days a week with the visit time slot at 10am and the last time slot at 7pm.  To book your visitation time please call the Reception Desk at 604-539-9934 or by emailing:

Corner Store

Please understand that our Corner Store is designed as a convenience and we are unable to keep up with the quantity being requested.   During this time we would appreciate families dropping off items weekly that their family member(s) requires. Some of these include incontinence products, toilet paper, paper towel, Kleenex, breakfast supplies, snacks etc.

Hair Salon is Open

Please note the hair salon at LSV (Change of Pace) is back open again for residents who wish to book a hair appointment.

Walking in a Winter Wonderland – Summer Solstice brought winter to Langley!

Just a reminder when dropping off items:

Once items are dropped off they are sanitized and delivered to the suites.

 Christmas isn’t a season it’s a feeling!

The feeling of Christmas is stronger than ever this year at Langley Seniors Village!  Through the generosity of an abundance of strangers including children, students and adults shows the Spirit of Christmas that exists in the Langley’s.

These pictures are a small sample of the unbelievable kindness that exists in Langley Township and Langley City!  The cards are one set of cards for each of the residents and we have multiple groups who have dropped off cards this year.

The middle picture shows a few of the baskets that were dropped off by a girls soccer team who adopted some of our seniors this Christmas.

The picture on the right is a small portion of bags full of gifts we received through London Drugs Stocking Stuffers for Seniors Program.  Each of our residents will be receiving a bag full of gifts that were purchased by London Drugs customers based on the tag they chose for a specific resident from a tree set up at London Drugs.

Once again we thank you for your patience and understanding during these trying times and wish all of you safe and happy holidays!

Thank You and Stay Healthy!
