To all Family Members:
Despite being COVID free at Dufferin Care Center, we wish to inform our families that, for now, all visitations will remain on hold. We will be moving ahead very cautiously and keep all of our processes in place to protect our residents and staff. Our Dining rooms remain closed. We once again are taking appointments for FaceTime. Please email our Recreation Manager, Michelle Vickers at firstname.lastname@example.org or call 604-552-1166 ext 308 to make an appointment. Please note that we will do our best to meet your requests; however, dependant upon volume of requests, there may be a delay in our response.
The status of our residents and staff is unchanged. We have (0) COVID + residents today. Close monitoring of all residents and staff continues.
Please refer to our daily updates on the Retirement Concepts Website.
If you have questions related to a specific resident, please address those matters to: email@example.com
As you might expect, staff are extremely busy but we will respond as quickly as possible.
Lockdown at Dufferin Care Centre
The community remains on mandatory lockdown as per the Order of the Medical Health Officer.
We are following Dr. Bonnie Henry’s order to stop sharing staff between facilities.
We are currently recruiting to our Recreation department and Housekeeping department. All other Departments are at full staff.
We continue to receive an adequate amount of PPE supplies both from Corporate and Fraser Health Authority.
Today, we celebrate our staff and Leadership by acknowledging the extreme effort that everyone has taken in caring for the residents and each other!
