From the Desk of Colin Montgomery, General Manager
Dear Families,
Thank you for all your support and patience during these challenging times. I am very proud of my team here at Casa Loma and Comox Valley Seniors Village – and can once again report that no staff or residents are presenting COVID-19 signs or symptoms in our communities. Thank you for your continued adherence to our no visitor policy. All the updates are posted to our website for easy reference. Should the status of this community change in any respect, please know that we will immediately contact families.
We have been unable to hold our monthly tenant council meetings, so we have encouraged our tenants in CVSV and Casa Loma to provide feedback through the written word.
Some of the highlights are:
“Only praise and a heart-felt thank you to all the staff for the exemplary way they carry out their duties. They all show great compassion to the tenants while doing their jobs quickly and efficiently.”
“I have many hurrahs and bravos for the team with all their expertise and friendly demeanor. They are always accommodating special request and bringing forth innovative ideas. We are very fortunate clients to be in such a caring environment”
“Thank you for keeping our families informed on what’s going on. Many thanks to all of you for coming to work each and every day to make our lives as normal as possible.”
We have also taken the suggestions seriously and working to improve a number of items.
DELIVERIES:
Deliveries can be dropped off at the reception areas of both buildings. We will sanitize all items and deliver the items to the tenant’s suites, unless they are able to pick them up themselves.
Dropping items off: for families please follow these guidelines as I am sure you want your parent or loved one to get their deliveries in a timely manner.
CONTINUED MESSAGING TO LOVED ONES:
Please help us with reinforcing the following four points, which are so critical, with your loved ones.
