Hello to the family and friends of our wonderful Residents here at the Auburn and Waverly! We hope you enjoy a wonderful, relaxing weekend.

No cases of reported outbreak nor signs nor symptoms of COVID-19 in any of our residents or staff here at Waverly Seniors’ Village or Auburn Retirement Residences to report.

We continue to be diligent in following the protocols set for us and everything has been going as well as can be expected, and we have some positive changes happening in the next couple of weeks. So stay tuned!

Communication

Due to social distancing orders we are encouraging family members and loved ones to connect with your family member via telephone call, or FACETIME or SKYPE.

Recreation

This upcoming week is “putting on the Ritz” week and if you care to drop off any “bling” for your loved one, please feel free to drop it off at the door and we will make sure it is sanitized and delivered. As restricted as it is, we still manage to have some great times together and keep smiling and laughing. We really are fortunate to have such a wonderful group of people as Residents here. Everyone is very cautious about their social distancing, sticking to only two at a time in the elevator and classes are staggered to accommodate no more than 5 at a time.

Meals

Dining rooms are still currently closed. We understand this is missed by many and we will do our best to open them back up as soon as we can without compromising anybody’s health.

Deliveries

We are accepting deliveries at the door that are being delivered to the residents as soon as they are sanitized and deemed safe.
