Friday, July 31, 2020– Beacon Hill Villa – Update

Dedicated families,

The president of the family council shared this with me and said she found the course to be very informative https://www.familycaregiversbc.ca/community-resources/social-visitation-essentials-course/

Family Caregivers of BC and SafeCare BC bring you COVID-19: Social Visitation Essentials. This self-paced, online course is intended for those who would like to visit a family member or friend residing in a long-term care home or assisted living residence, as permitted by the care home’s safety plan and regional public health direction.

Doug Csima | General Manager

We want to thank everyone for their patience as we start our visiting program. If you have submitted an application but have not heard from us, please follow up with an email to the new email address: familyvisits@beaconhillvilla.com

As things will look a bit different, here is a summary of what to expect on your visits:

The Anticipated schedule 1 visit every 2 weeks. We hope to expand this as restrictions ease. This will ensure all residents have a visit with their loved one and the recreation team will be able to provide programs for residents who do not have family visiting.

In order to maximize our time so all families can benefit from booking a visit faster:

Take care and stay safe,

Beacon Hill Villa Team
