Our Chef talks Creativity

Our philosophy is simple. It is simply about quality. We believe that with just a few small changes in the way you shop each day you can have a huge impact on the final taste of each meal. This in turn pays off when our Residents are about to partake in their meal for the day. Our first principle is to choose and prepare recipes based on ingredients that are in season. Seasonal produce is always fresher and tastier, and that quality comes through in the flavour of the dish. Of course in winter time is a little harder to manage but we leave that part to our creative and caring staff in our communities!

Secondly, our Residents benefit hugely from buying good ingredients from a nutritional point of view. We are so blessed to live in a province that is abundant with local produce, great farms and of course first class meat and poultry! We are always looking for great ideas from our Residents to put on our seasonal menus! It goes without saying that food is only as good as our service, and we take pride in that each day in our communities.
