Activities & Lifestyle

Summerland features numerous walking, biking or hiking trails through its lakeside neighbourhood, up to the top of Giant’s Head Mountain overlooking the town, and over the historic Hudson Bay Company’s fur brigade trail. Summerland boasts some of the Okanagan Valley’s most famous wineries including Sumac Ridge and Thornhaven Estate. Golfing, fishing, baseball, soccer and sailing are just a few activities you can enjoy. In the winter you will want to ski at one of the many resorts close to Summerland, watch a Junior B hockey game or do some curling.
