A Love Story at Maple Ridge Seniors Village

Frank & Vivian moved into Maple Ridge Seniors Village community in 2017. Frank lives in an Assisted Living suite and Vivian is in Complex Care. It was imperative for them to not be separated and the timing was perfect as we had suites available for their needs at the same time! They met in Kelowna while working together at the SM Simpson Sawmill. It was the only place at the time, Frank says, that you could get decent pay. When they had met, it was love at first site! Vivian recalls, ” we just couldn’t say goodnight“.

After being married for 67+ years and having seven children, Vivian says the secret is, “Don’t look at other guys!” Frank’s advice to newlyweds, “Take one day at a time and always stand by your partner and make sure they know you love them”
